The project aims to define competency requirements for data scientists in biomanufacturing and to provide a competency model to facilitate curriculum development in academic institutions and guide training programs in industry.
We are also developing a handbook that can be used by management as a guide for implementing data analytics in biomanufacturing.
The handbook will include case examples demonstrating how to implement a competency model within the broader context of member organizations with respect to company culture and resource constraints. It will serve as a resource and guidebook for less experienced organizations as they grow their data analytics capabilities.
