Key leadership from Sanofi’s recently formed BioInnovation Unit gathered to discuss the challenges and opportunities for biologics now and in the future in addition to preferred models for industry-academia / hospital collaborations.

In September 2012, CBI and Sanofi Hosted a Gathering of Distinguished Leaders: Nanomedicine: A Near-term Convergence of Science, Technology and Business with Major Impact on the Pharmaceutical Industry
A blue-ribbon panel of more than 20 industry and academic pioneers from leading institutions spent the day discussing the emerging science of nanoparticle technology and its potential breakthrough role in medicine, with a particular emphasis on oncology and immunology. Topics ranged from cancer cell surface markers for targeted therapy to the regulatory and commercial considerations of nanomedicine
In April 2012, CBI Co-hosted Sanofi’s Translational Medicine Forum
Industry and academic thought-leaders spent the day addressing themes within translational medicine (TM) ranging from building TM projects through external partnerships, building internal organization to advance and support TM project portfolios.
