Mary Lou Gantzer
President, Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI)
Dr. Gantzer is the President of CLSI, and is also an active volunteer in CLSI’s Global Health Partnership Program. The mission of CLSI, a non-profit standards development organization, is to develop clinical and laboratory best practices, and promote their use throughout the world. She has also been involved in the establishment of the International Consortium for Harmonization of Clinical Laboratory Results, which is a global effort related to improvement of patient care through increased harmonization of clinical laboratory diagnostic procedures.
Dr. Gantzer has 30+ years of experience in the areas of research and development, clinical affairs, and preparation of regulatory submissions in both large and mid-sized industry leading companies in the in vitro diagnostics industry.
